Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

Fokus Ekonomi  is a scientific journal that is published regularly within 6 months (semesters), namely June and December every year. This journal contains manuscripts or articles that are library research and empirical research. The articles published in Jurnal Fokus Ekonomi come from academics, practitioners and observers with the following references:

1. Article manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English and have never been published.
2. Manuscripts are sent to the editor in the order of writing format consisting of: Title, Author Name, Author Affiliate, Abstraction, Introduction, Review, Closing, References in the form of textbooks, journals, magazines, and daily. Authors must include a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
3. Abstract written in Indonesian and English, approximately 200 words, contains high-light research results that stand out and are related to the title of the article, literature review, and following scientific reviews.
4. The introduction contains the background and formulation of the problem, literature study, objectives and benefits as well as the contribution of the results.
5. The review contains research methods as well as results and discussion.
6. The closing contains conclusions and suggestions, both related to the topic of discussion or for the next researcher (if any).
7. Citing at least one article that has been published in the previous edition of the Jurnal Fokus Ekonomi.
8. References are written in the following format:
   
   Marlien, R. A., Cindy, N. P., Basiya, R., & Suteja, B. (2021). Analysis of Factors Affecting Consumer’s Purchase Intention Impact on Customer Behavior Outcomes. Advances in Economics, Business and Management Research, 169, 430–434.

9. Manuscripts or articles are submitted via OJS in Microsoft Word file format, 1.5 line spacing, A4, and a maximum of 20 pages.
10. As proof that the article's manuscript has been published in Jurnal Fokus Ekonomi, the author can download the article on the Economic Focus web side page of the edition.
11. The deadline for submitting article manuscripts to the Editors of Jurnal Fokus Ekonomi is the second week of May and November.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
